We believe the Scriptures (the Holy Bible) are the infallible authoritative Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, the supreme source of truth, without any mixture of error; the only basis for our faith and fellowship, God’s manual for Christian beliefs and living, the Gospel that brings personal conversion and which contains every answer to man’s problems. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105,160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5).
We believe there is only one God who is the creator and ruler of the universe, who eternally existed in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, He is God Himself conceived in a virgin through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death that paid for our sin through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension, rising up to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18,25; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 9:15-22; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:27-28).
We believe that acceptance of Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal, regeneration and sanctification of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the absolute essential paths to salvation for lost, sinful men and women. We believe that He will come in glory to righteously judge all people based on their acceptance or rejection of Him, as He Jesus is the only way to bridge the gap of sin between God and people and also, He is the only way to have a relationship with God now, and later eternal life with God in heaven. (Acts 2:4; 10:44, 19:1-6, John 14:6, 2 Thess.2:13, 2 Tim 2:21, Acts 22:18, John 5:24).
We believe in water Baptism by immersion, as commanded, taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to symbolize and identify with His death, burial and resurrection. We value Baptism as public declaration of a person having accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and already been saved Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Matthew 3:13-17
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, that all believers are members of His body, the Church. (Philippians 2:1-4). Consequently, we are committed and dedicated to helping every person believe in Jesus, each belonging to God’s family, becoming a disciple and build His kingdom. Helping people to take the next steps with Jesus through faith that burns like fire, to bring about Individual, Family, Community and Global Transformation. (Romans 12: 1:3, 1 Corinthians 15:58, 2Corinthians 6 : 17)
We believe God gives all believers spiritual gifts, which are for the strengthening of God’s people (the Church) and proof of God’s existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10), so also is Sanctification, an ongoing process of allowing God’s character to be developed in us. Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25.
We believe Divine healing is active in the lives of people today through Jesus Christ who is the Healer. He desires to reach out with love to heal and restore those who are oppressed, widowed, orphaned, broken-hearted and all those who are sick physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. (Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1, Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:16).
We believe God designed and God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9)
We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; that we must honour the physical and spiritual needs of all people; following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10).
We believe in the existence of Heaven and Hell and the Resurrection of both the saved and the lost in eternal life. We believe that anyone who belief, acknowledge and accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God and their Lord and Saviour are saved unto resurrection of life and will spend peaceful and blissful eternity with the Lord in Heaven. While those who rejected Him are lost unto the resurrection of damnation and will receive eternal damnation and suffering in hell fire (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
We believe in The Rapture. when Christ comes back and takes every true Christian that is still on this earth and resurrects all of those who have died and takes them to heaven with Him. (1 Thessalonians 5:1-8, Matthew 24:29-31 · 1 Thessalonians 4:17 · Revelation 3:10).
We believe in The Millennial Reign of Christ, the amazing thousand-year kingdom of peace, that Christ will establish in the end times. A time of peace and harmony on the earth when Jesus and the saints will rule in righteousness. A time when all wrongs will be put right and all evils will be cleansed from the earth. (Revelation 22: 1 – 6; Isaiah 65:20-25)
We believe in The Final Judgment Day, “The terrible Day of the Lord“, that will usher only true believers whose names are found written in the Book of Life, into the Marriage Supper of The Lord, to become co inheritors of the Kingdom of God with Christ. (Joel 2:31, cited in Acts 2:20, Mathew 25:31-46)
We believe in The New Heaven and Earth. The glorious promise of God to where the Earth will be made new, the reversal of the curse of Eden. The time of the renewal of all things – the time when all things are made new. (Revelation chapter 21).
